Your preschooler's main business is play. Through play, children learn. Toys are carefully chosen and designed to help all children develop at their own pace in an atmosphere of love and care. Your child can build with blocks or work with wood at our workbench. Imaginative craft projects are offered daily to improve fine motor skills. A large climber, sand table, puppet theater, housekeeping area, dress-up corner, play-dough, easel painting, books, games and puzzles are also available to aide in learning.
A teacher directed circle time gives your child a chance to enjoy stories, rhymes, poems and songs, as well as to practice turn taking and paying attention. After snack time, children have a chance to go outside and enjoy our playground equipment. When the weather does not permit outside play, the children enjoy a second group time with music, games or other large motor skill activities.
Children must be 4 years old by December 1, 2016 for the 2016-2017 school year.
