Novi Co-op Preschool
Our Teachers

Joan Williams - Joan currently teaches our three year old classes. She will be retiring this April to spend more time with her three grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education / Childcare. She joined us from Our Lady of Sorrows School, where she was Assistant Principal for six years. Joan has 30 years of experience in Early Childhood and is currently pursuing a degree in Child Psychology. This is Joan's fifth year with our preschool.

Carrie Cadicamo - Carrie will be our new teacher for the 3 year old class at Novi Co-Op Preschool beginning in May 2008. She has a BA Degree in Child Psychology and Political Science from the University of Michigan.  In addition, she has attended, and presented, various workshops and trainings in early childhood education.  Besides her “mommy” experience to three girls, she has been an Infant/Toddler Teacher, an Assistant Director, a Nursery Director at the First United Methodist Church in South Lyon and taught a Parent’s Time Out program for 2 – 5 year olds.  She has been a Co-Op parent with all three of her children, two of them here at Novi Co-op Preschool.  She truly believes the Co-op is the best first school experience for children and families and feels honored to be part of such an excellent program.

Tracey Smith - Tracey is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Child Development / Preschool. Tracey has worked previously as a kindergarten teacher, preschool teacher and assistant preschool director. Tracey embraces the co-op philosophy with her love for children and her passion for educating others about the way young children learn. She is an active member of the Greater Detroit Cooperative Preschool Teachers Association and is currently serving as their President. She has also been a Novi Co-op parent with two of her three children. This is Tracey's twelfth year with us.
